Health and Safety Manager

Wurkplace is an outsourced Health and Safety, HR and Training Company whose Head Office is based in Hawarden, Flintshire. Due to continued growth, we now require a Health and Safety Manager to drive the health and safety service side of the business forward under the guidance of the Head of Health and Safety.

This is an excellent role for someone with health and safety experience and qualifications and there are excellent career prospects for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a team of health and safety field based consultants/co-ordinators
• Managing the internal health and safety processes
• Dealing with daily health and safety queries from clients
• Conducting health and safety audits for external clients
• Working to deadlines
• Liaising with the Business development department
• Creating action plans for clients to ensure compliance
• Visiting clients on site
• Ensuring all client actions are completed and delivered within budget and the timescales agreed

The Candidate:

The ideal Health and Safety Manager will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Ideally educated to NEBOSH Diploma level
• Experience of managing a team is preferable but not essential as full training and development can be given
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience of accreditations such as CHAS, Construction Line (preferred but not essential)

Bookkeeper

Wurkplace Limited has a fantastic opportunity for an employed bookkeeper to join our growing and thriving HR and Health and Safety consultancy business based in Hawarden.

We are seeking a part-time book keeper to support our clients with bookkeeping and payroll support. There is potential scope for more work as this area of the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Sales ledger – invoicing, credit control for our clients
• Purchase ledger and supplier payments for our clients
• Bank reconciliations for our clients
• Online banking for our clients
• Managing our clients payroll
• Liaising directly with the clients
• Month and year end reporting for the clients
• Dealing with pension requirements

The Candidate:

The ideal Bookkeeper will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• A strong track record and experience in an accounts role
• Able to produce accounts to P&L and Trial balance
• Confident IT skills including use of Sage and MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Team Player
• Payroll experience

The role will include assisting with the Business Development Director to grow new business and develop existing clients and services.

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Developing and hunting new opportunities
• Account Managing new opportunities made
• Developing and managing clients in a geographical area made by yourself
• Upselling and cross-selling services to clients you have made
• Attending client meetings and pursue sales leads
• Attend networking and industry exhibitions

The Candidate:

The ideal Business Development Manager will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Must be a hunter and show some skills in farming
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven track record hitting targets and meeting KPI’s
